First weekend in February: how was January?

The legend has it that a legendary American football coach, Vince Lombardi, during a pre-championship retreat had to find a way to shock his team: all the players were still in low spirits because of the defeat suffered in the previous championship.
He gathered them around him, holding the oval ball in his hand. He didn’t talk about complicated strategies or new game patterns. And he didn’t even make any motivational declamations.
He started again from the fundamentals saying:
– “Gentlemen, this is a ball…”
Only 6 months later, the same team triumphed in the new championship inflicting a very heavy 37-0 to the opponents of the final.
This is the strength of the fundamentals.
