Funny news on a foreign website.
If it’s true, it’s fun.
If it’s a fake news, it counts as an advance on April 1.
it seems that in recent days a picnic of feminists has failed…
…because none of them thought of bringing sandwiches!
This is so funny.
I’m not going into the matter at all to avoid a tirade by some fundamentalists. So much so, the news comments on its own.
Rather, I wanted to mention it for a business reason.
It reminds me of those companies where no one seems to want to talk about SALES.
Yes, it happens.
There are prospects for example that describe the business so twisted, that while they speak I wonder:
– “But in this company … how the hell do the money enter?”
I’m not talking about shady things, for God’s sake. They’re just businesses where the word sales seems to be a dirty word. Everyone wants to stay away from it.
More generally, there are two categories of customers who don’t dare to say the word “sales”:
- In the first category you just don’t understand who sells-what-to-whom: twisted stuff, strange triangulations, merchandise exchanges, etc..
- In the second there are instead those where you understand very well where the money comes from, but the owner or manager on duty doesn’t dare to say the magic word “sale” because it isn’t cool. So, he rather uses learned speeches like “business model”, and so on.
Maybe it’s because I’m (actually, I used to be) an engineer, but on this issue I prefer and recommend clarity.
You don’t have to be ashamed to sell: you always have to say clearly that you are there to SELL, WHAT you sell, and WHO you sell it to.
All your marketing and sales activities will benefit from this simplification, and your customers will also appreciate it.
But why is there such a reluctance to sell? And is it possible to sell without being ashamed?
These are the themes of TheSystem programme, which helps you to create an automated marketing and sales machine. They can be found in particular in the 5th module of the program, dedicated to the role of Sales with a capital “V”.
To learn more, this is the new product presentation page; or rather, as a seller who isn’t ashamed, the new “sales letter”:
