The film The Place is the story of a man who offers solutions to make people’s wishes come true.
A bit of a psychologist, a bit of a devil, he gives each ” client ” an action plan.
“What do you want?” he asks the client.
The client tells him what s/he wants, he consults an organizer full of notes, and then says:
“Ok. You must do this: ….“ and assign him the task.
It doesn’t matter if it is often a deplorable action, which can involve committing ethically inconceivable actions in order to see one’s own desire come true.
It’s a film that will definitely make you think.
(To be fair: I would have rather watched a cinepanettone with naked women and dumb jokes, but whoever dragged me to the cinema is a lover of intellectual films, so I accepted for gallantry and I had to put up with two hours of mono-frame films. Luckily, I was well prepared to withstand such devastating introspective lucubrations armed with a bucket of magnum popcorn).
But let me get to the point.
I don’t want to discuss about the message of the film, or what a person could do if he or she strongly wanted something, even passing over fundamental ethical principles, etc., etc., etc…
I’ll tell you instead that in order to give a sense to the afternoon while munching popcorn, I tried to identify myself with the protagonist, and I found three possible analogies that might interest you.

Do you want to acquire new customers? Do you want to increase your sales?
Then you need to know that:
- No. 1 tip for lead generation
If you tell us what you want to achieve, we can tell you if you can do it, and we know what action plan to prescribe. The only not-so-small difference, compared to the film, is that we never prescribe unethical plans.
- No. 2 tip for lead generation
If you are willing to do everything the plan requires, and you put it into practice without question, you will be sure to achieve your goal.
- No. 3 tip for lead generation
But if you are NOT willing to do everything that the plan foresees, and therefore you won’t put it into practice… or if you adapt it to what you think is more convenient for you and you will implement it in a different way, you will NOT achieve your objective.
Are you ready to try?
Book a consultation (it’s free: in the movie too, there is never any exchange of money).
When we will hear over the phone, or – better – in Skype video call, I will ask you for your sales target, and I will tell you if it is feasible and with what plan.
If you have a business goal you want to reach, and you really want to reach it (i.e. if you are willing to do everything necessary), here is the link to book the session:
